Veterans Memorial Park is a smaller community park and approximately 2.6 acres in size. It's located on the south side of the Commerce City Recreation Center. The park is open to the public at all times however, this park has a sheltered area that can be rented out.
Veterans Beach is a great place for a family cookout under the pine trees and is next to The Kennedy Memorial. It also has a nice playground. Veteran's Beach is a great spot to spend the day. Whether you are looking to swim, beach comb, or play some beach games this beach can accommodate you. There is a playground, grills, park benches, and a large parking lot that can be used for a $20 daily fee.

We strolled to the recreation area after eating close by and I'm so happy we did. The actual remembrance is delightful and very much kept up with and there is a dazzling ocean side behind it. We wound up strolling 2 the ocean side and investing energy there as the water was so quiet and our children delighted in getting some ocean animals. There is a little part where u can stop free of charge for up to a 1/2 hour 2 visit the recreation area.
We halted to see the JFK Memorial and went for a short stroll around the recreation area. Pleasant ocean side region with quiet water-ideal for little youngsters. There was a perfect restroom on location and the stopping was free. We invested some energy watching out at the boats in the water. Ideal spot for some peaceful reflection.
